Arkansas Women's Golf Association

The Arkansas Women's Golf Association has been the premier competitive women's amateur golf organization in the state of Arkansas since 1924. Our events include a state level match play tournament and stroke play event, as well as numerous designated stroke play tournaments throughout the year. AWGA is also the qualifying organization in Arkansas for the Ryder cup style Fore States Team, the Junior Girls Tri-States Team and the USGA Women's State Team. Our mission is to promote the game of golf among women in the state of Arkansas and to promote the spirit of good sportsmanship and friendly competition. As an organization, we provide golf handicap services to all our individual members and course rating services to Arkansas golf courses.
